About Statement

Eyebeam serves as a powerhouse for artists’ ideas by providing practitioners financial support, tools, mentorship, project management, and visibility. Within our incubator, nascent ideas can actualize into projects or even evolve into catalysts, subverting the status quo and serving as radical change-agents.

This unique, values-driven approach to centering artists’ ideas is predicated on the belief that artists’ critical engagement with digital tools and their visions of how technology can be are vital in the invention and design of a more hopeful shared future. Furthermore, Eyebeam holds that artists’ ideas should support the design of policy, thereby shaping radical, systemic change that shifts the imbalance of power and just and sustainable world.
